Deeds are based on intentions, and everyone will get what he intended.

I am the last of the Prophets, and you are the last Ummah.

The one who has not thanked people has not thanked Allah either.

Whoever builds a masjid for gaining the pleasure of Allah, Allah will make a house for him in Paradise (Jannah).

A perfect Muslim is he from whose hands and tongue other Muslims are safe.

Whoever adheres to my Sunnah at the time of corruption in my Ummah, will have the reward of 100 martyrs.

The one who performs sacrifice (of an animal) gets the reward of one good deed for each hair of the sacrificed animal.

The one, who can afford to perform the sacrifice (of an animal) but does not perform it, should not come near our Eid-gah (an open ground designated for Eid Salah).

Having good opinion (about others) is a superior worship.

Part of the perfection of one’s Islam is to leave what does not concern him.

Leave what gives you doubt, for what gives you no doubt.

Avoid that which I forbid you from, and do that which I command you to do, to the best of your capability.

Seeking the knowledge (of religion) is obligatory upon every Muslim.

I distribute and Allah bestows.

One Faqih (possessor of sacred knowledge) has more power (is more burdensome) upon the Satan than a thousand devout worshippers.

My intercession is for those in my Ummah who have committed major sins.

The person nearer to me (among all other people) on the Reckoning Day will be the one who would send Salat (Durood) upon me abundantly.

When a person is in seclusion with (unlawful) woman, the third one present there is Satan.

You will be summoned on the Day of Judgment with your names and those of your fathers, so, give good names.

Do not project yourself as good. Almighty Allah is well aware that who is pious amongst you.

Every Prophet will have a (special) companion in paradise and my (special) companion in paradise is Usman son of Affan.

Without doubt, Allah has made it forbidden for the earth to decay the bodies of the Prophets. The Prophet of Allah is alive and is given sustenance.

The coolness of my eyes is in Salah (prayer).

Whoever loved my Sunnah loved me, and whoever loved me will be with me in Paradise.

The one, who keeps silent, attains salvation.

The right of an elder brother upon his younger brother is like the right which a father has upon his offspring.

No father gave anything to his child better than good manners.

The one who severs family ties will not enter Paradise.

Give good news and do not incite hatred.

Indeed I see the demons (satans) among men and jinn run away from (fear of) Umar.

Indeed, Allah has placed truth upon Umar's tongue and heart.

Are you granted support and sustenance except by the virtue of your weak?

After the month of Ramadan, the most superior fasts are (the fasts) of Muharram, the month of Allah.

The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the father and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the father.

The best amongst you is he who learns the Holy Qur’an and teaches it.

Whoever repents from sins, it is as if he never committed any sin at all.

Hasan and Husayn are the chiefs of the youth of Paradise.

Whoever loves Hasan and Husayn has loved me, and whoever hates them has hated me.

The one who spends prosperously on his family on the 10th of Muharram, Allah Almighty will grant him affluence all year round.

The martyr experiences no more pain being killed than one of you feel by sting of an ant.

Every religion has a character (trait), and the character of Islam is modesty.

Cleanliness is half of faith (Iman).

Invoke durood on me, indeed your durood reaches me wherever you may be.

Paradise lies under the feet of mothers.

Whoever recites Salat (Durood) upon me once; Allah sends ten mercies upon him, forgives ten sins and elevates his rank by ten times.

To contemplate (about the matters of the Hereafter) for a moment is better than 60 years' worship.

There are two such favours about which many people are in deception, (One is) health and (the other is) leisure time.

The best prayer after the Fard (obligatory) prayers, is Salah performed in the night.

Dua (Supplication) is the weapon of a believer.

The angels of mercy do not enter the home in which there is a dog or a picture.

I have been commanded to break drums and flutes.

Strong is not that person who is a wrestler, who throws down people, but strong is he, who restrains himself when angry.

Mend relations with those who break off ties with you.

Convey on my behalf even if only one verse.

Whoever is two-faced in this world, will have two tongues of fire on the Day of Resurrection.

Abstain from oppression, for verily, oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection.

Live in this world like a traveller, but rather like a wayfarer.

You should not accompany but true believers, and none except the pious should eat your food.

Whosoever takes a loan with the intention of not paying it back, will appear before Allah as a thief.

The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is that of the giver and the lower hand is that of the beggar.

If a person spends on his family seeking reward (from Allah) then it is Sadaqah (charity) for him.

This sin is enough for a person that he withholds the sustenance from the one whom he should provide for.

Successful is the one who becomes a Muslim, and is given sustenance which is sufficient for him, and Allah grants him contentment upon what he has been bestowed.

Do not condemn my companions. Even if any of you spent gold equivalent to the mount Uhud, it would not be equivalent to one ‘Mudd’ of theirs and nor to half of that.

The best day on which the sun rises is Friday.

Abu Bakr and Umar are the leaders of the mature inhabitants of Paradise, of the first and the last, except the Prophets and the Messengers.

Verily! Among the slaves of Allah there are some who, if they swear an oath by Allah, He (Almighty) carries it out.

Fatimah is a piece of my body. Whosoever displeased her has displeased me.

The one who was present in (the battles of) Badr and Hudaibiyah will not enter the fire.

Allah ﷻ has said: Whoever possesses enmity towards a Wali (friend) of Mine, I declare war on him.

Verily, Allah will send at the end of every century such a person for this Ummah who will revive its religion.

Whomever Allah wills to bestow with goodness, He grants him the understanding of religion.

Whoever loves someone for the sake of Allah and has enmity with someone for the sake of Allah, and gives for the sake of Allah and forbids for the sake of Allah, has perfected his Faith (Iman).

Indeed, Friday is chief of all days; it is most magnificent (among all days) in the court of Allah.

Do not be envious and malicious to one another and do not turn your backs to each other, and the servants of Allah should live as brothers (in harmony).

It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert his brother for more than three nights, for one who does so and dies will enter the hellfire.

Refrain from ill-suspicion, for indeed, ill-suspicion is the biggest lie.

He is not from us who does not have mercy on our young ones and does not recognize the honour of our elders.

Belief (Iman) will retreat to Al-Madinah as a snake retreats to its hole.

A believer is not stung twice from the same hole.

Two habits can never co-exist in a believer: Miserliness and Rudeness.

Two eyes will not be touched by the fire, an eye that weeps due to the fear of Allah and an eye that stands on guard in the cause of Allah.

Whatever trouble a Muslim is afflicted out of fatigue, sickness, worry, sadness, agony and sorrow, even a thorn’s prick, Allah makes it an expiation for his sins.

Do not dispute with your brother. Do not make fun of him. Do not make a promise to him and then break it.

A believer who mixes with people and endures their annoyance is better than the one who does not mix with people nor endure their annoyance.

The one who maintains good ties is not the one who recompenses good; rather, he is the one who maintains ties when his kin cut him off.

Surely, Allah did not send me to cause hardship, or indulge in it; rather, He has sent me as an educator and facilitator.

The righteous will depart one by one, until only the (people like) husk remain as the husk of barley or dates, Allah will not care about them at all.

A man continues to exalt himself until he is written amongst the tyrants, he is then afflicted with whatever afflicted them.

Love for something makes (a man) blind and deaf.

Hell is covered under temptations and the Paradise is surrounded by hardships.
